SOPA/PIPA protest

On Jan 18, 2012, this website followed a worldwide 24 h internet site blackout to protest SOPA and PIPA, the proposed U.S. legislation to prevent online copyright violations by preventing access to sites (and basically censoring and shutting off the internet). See here for more information.

Although it concerns U.S. legislation, the censorship would impact sites and access worldwide.
